Wyoming athletes receive medals at 2015 Simplot Games
Pocatello, Idaho – Wyoming athletes gathered in Pocatello, Idaho, this weekend to compete in the 37th annual Simplot Games. Athletes from across the U.S., along with Canada, Mexico, and Australia also competed for medals
Carlos Salcido, a senior from Rock Springs, led Wyoming athletes with a first place finish in the boys’ 400 meters with the time 48.88 seconds.
A full list of Wyoming athletes who won medals is listed below.
More than 2,000 athletes have come from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Australia to participate in the 37th annual Simplot Games. Simplot Games remains the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Sponsored by the J.R. Simplot Company since 1979, the Simplot Games are held at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.
