Pocatello, Idaho – Drew Xandrine Anderson, senior from American Canyon, Calif., wins the boys’ triple jump at the 2015 Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho, with the distance of 46’8”.
 
“I feel great, I’m ecstatic,” said Xandrine Anderson. “I wasn’t expecting to win, so I am happy with the outcome.”
 
This was Xandrine Anderson’s first time competing at Simplot Games, and first time travelling to Idaho. He said he enjoyed the experience and took home a great souevenier.
 
More than 2,000 athletes have come from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Australia to participate in the 37th annual Simplot Games. Simplot Games remains the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Sponsored by the J.R. Simplot Company since 1979, the Simplot Games are held at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.
