Team represents Pocatello in front of local crowd

Pocatello, Idaho – The Diamondback Track Club, of Pocatello, Idaho, wins the all-Idaho boys’ 4×200-meter relay with a time of 1:34.91 at the 2015 Simplot Games. The team was made up of juniors Tyler Johnson, Samuel Muse, and Dallin Blaser along with sophomore Ryan Wilson.

“We were pretty nervous coming out,” Johnson said, “This was our first time ever running as a team. It feels great.”

“We had good handoffs which I think helped us out a lot,” Wilson said, “Coming out, I think we knew we could get first.”

The boys were all really excited to compete in front of their home crowd and felt it added excitement as they got to compete against their cross-town rivals, Indian Track Club.

Their advice to anyone coming to compete at Simplot Games is to stay relaxed, don’t worry about the crowd, and have confidence in your abilities.
