Pocatello, Idaho – Dallin Draper, a junior from Lehi Utah, won the boys’ 60-meter dash at the 2017 Simplot Games.
 
Draper crossed the finish line with a time of 6.86, just .02 seconds in front of the second place runner, Myles Webb, a senior from Glendale, Calif.
 
“When I am on the blocks I just focus on getting myself across the finish line first,” Draper said.
 
More than 2,200 athletes came from across the U.S., Canada, and Australia to participate in the 39th annual Simplot Games. Simplot Games remains the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Sponsored by the J.R. Simplot Company since 1979, the Simplot Games are held at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.
