Pocatello, Idaho – CATC from Oakland, Calif., took first place at 2017 Simplot Games in the girls’ sprint medley relay with a time at 4:12.33.
The team consists of Tierra Robinson-Jones, junior, who ran the 400 leg, Lauryn Moore, senior, ran the first 200 leg, Jordan Jones, sophomore, ran the second 200 leg, and Emma Wawrzynek, senior, ran the 800 anchor leg.
“We knew it would be tough,” said Moore. “We had to run faster and compete harder.”
