Broncs Track Club of Sheridan, Wyoming, Wins Boys’ 4×200-meter Relay at 2019 Simplot Games
Pocatello, Idaho— Broncs Track Club, from Sheridan, Wyoming, won the boys’ 4×200-meter relay with a time of 1:30.66.
Alec Riegert, Marc Wodahl, Cody Milmine, and Matthew Roma, all seniors from Sheridan.
“We knew we could run this race, our coaches believed in us, we just wanted to see ourselves do it,” said Roma.
This was Rieget and Wodahl’s fourth time at the Games, Roma’s third, and Milmine’s first Simplot Games and first time running indoor track.
The team sported matching shoes and painted nails during the final race.
More than 2,100 athletes will come from across the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand to participate in the 41st annual Simplot Games. Simplot Games remains the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Sponsored by the J.R. Simplot Company since 1979, the Simplot Games are held at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.
