Team Idaho Wins All Idaho Girls’ 4×200-Meter Relay at the 2019 Simplot Games

Pocatello, Idaho – Team Idaho won the All Idaho girls’ 4×200-meter relay with a time of 1:48.26 at the 2019 Simplot Games.

Mya McArthur ran the first leg, Jenna Sutten ran the second leg, Jylian Bitner ran the third leg, and Brooke Weimer was the anchor.

“It feels so good to win,” Bitner said. “We only met on Thursday, so to work so well with a group of girls and to win is pretty amazing.”

More than 2,200 athletes will come from across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand to participate in the 41st annual Simplot Games. Simplot Games remains the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Sponsored by the J.R. Simplot Company since 1979, the Simplot Games are held at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.
