Team Idaho ‘A’ from Boise Wins the All Idaho Boys’ 4×200-Meter Relay at the 2018 Simplot Games

 

 

Pocatello, Idaho – Team Idaho ‘A’ from Boise, Idaho, won the All Idaho Boys’ 4×200-meter relay with a  time of 1:33.01 at the 2018 Simplot Games.

The team consisted of Carter Baumgartner, a senior who ran the first leg, Ibraheem Bah, a junior who ran the second leg, Bryce Adams, a junior who ran the third leg, and Zach Meyer, a senior who ran the fourth leg.

“It was a little bit sketchy at first because we actually had someone go home sick, so Zach stepped up and we’re glad he did so we could win,” Baumgartner said.

More than 2,200 athletes will come from across the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand to participate in the 40th annual Simplot Games. Simplot Games remains the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Sponsored by the J.R. Simplot Company since 1979, the Simplot Games are held at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.
