Pocatello, Idaho – Sydney Holiday, a junior from Broomfield, Colo., won the girls’ 200 meters at the 2019 Simplot Games with a time of 24.34.

“I knew I had a good group of girls to run with,” Holiday said. “I was confident, had a good stride, and just went for it.”

This is Holiday’s third time at Simplot Games, but first time running the 200 meters. She previously ran the 60-meter hurdles and 60-meter dash, but decided to run the 200 meters this year.
