Pocatello, Idaho – It is once again time to register for the 2017 Simplot Games. On February 16-18, 2017, athletes around the globe will gather for the 39th annual meet at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena.
The Simplot games is the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event where athletes can showcase their talent alongside other participants from North America, Canada, Mexico, Australia and new this year, New Zealand. This is an open meet, so all athletes are welcome to participate without any prior qualifications.
The Simplot Games is what you could call “fun and games” because not only are the athletes competing but they also get the chance to meet Olympians, attend workshops to improve skill and also gather together for dinner and a dance.
All registration forms can all be completed online at: www.simplotgames.com. Liability forms will also need to be filled out when registering.
Here are some helpful steps to register:
Coaches set up the team account, the Athlete Access Code and enter the athletes into the roster. They can also go in and check to see who has registered on the account.
All athletes must sign the Online Participation Agreement and Release of Liability Form BEFORE registration closes Sunday, February 12th at 11:59 p.m. Athletes ages 17 & under need a guardian’s signature.
More than 2,000 athletes will come from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand to participate in the 39th annual Simplot Games.
