Pocatello, Idaho–Registration for Simplot Games opens today, marking the start of the 41st anniversary of the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Simplot Games will take place Feb. 14-16 at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena.
Simplot Games attracts top-tier athletes from around the world with participants competing from the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. As an open meet, Simplot Games encourages all athletes to participate without the requirement of any prior qualifications.
In addition to the track and field meet, athletes will have the opportunity to meet Olympians and celebrate with games and food at the Simplot Games After Dark party.
All registration forms can be completed online at games.simplotgamesregistration.com. Waivers are also available on the website and will need to be completed before the competition.
Here are some helpful steps to register:
INDIVIDUALS/UNATTACHED ATHLETES:

1. Create your account and register as an Unattached Athlete
2. Enter your events on the Team Summary or Roster page
3. Sign the online Participation Agreement and Release of Liability Form
4. After your payment, you will receive a registration email with your roster and PayPal receipt

TEAMS:
Coaches set up the team account, the Athlete Access Code and enter the athletes into the roster. They can also go in and check to see who has registered on the account.

1. Athletes go: games.simplotgamesregistration.com
2. Click Athlete in the upper right-hand corner, Team Athlete Portal
3. Athletes will fill out their Team Name, First Name, Last Name and Team Access Code (which the coach sets up), check I’m not a robot and click Sign In
4. Sign the online Participation Agreement and Release of Liability Form

 
All athletes must sign the online Participation Agreement and Release of Liability Form BEFORE registration closes Sunday, February 10 at 4 p.m. Athletes ages 17 & under need a guardian’s signature.
 
More than 2,100 athletes will come from across the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand to participate in the 41^st annual Simplot Games. Simplot Games remains the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Sponsored by the J.R. Simplot Company since 1979, the Simplot Games are held at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.
