Media Credentials Required

Thank you for your interest in Simplot Games, to be held February 13-15, 2020, at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho. More than 2,100 athletes from across the United States, Canada, and Australia will compete at the 42nd annual Simplot Games in Holt Arena’s facilities, including its unique 200-meter wood track.

Media who seek to cover the event will require credentials from Simplot Games. Credentials are available for pre-authorized working media representatives. Passes are not transferable. You will also need to complete the Volunteer Release of Liability Form and email that to before covering the event.

To receive consideration, requests should be completed no later than February 11, 2020, using the form below.

All applicants will receive an email confirming or denying their application within one week of receipt.

Simplot Games provides a media team of professionals and volunteers to assist credentialed media with information, data, access to Simplot Games competition areas, and assistance with access to officials, coaches, and athletes. The media team is based at the southeast corner of the floor at Holt Arena.

Credential pick up
Credentials can be picked up at the media desk during the following times:

Media Credentials are issued for the purpose of giving accredited media access to conduct legitimate journalistic functions in connection with Simplot Games.

Credentials are non-transferable and can only be used by the accredited organization to whom it was issued.

Media credential holders may access all areas of the Holt Arena floor, except the following:

Credential holders are expected to follow directions provided by event officials and the Simplot Games media team.

Interviews with individual athletes are to be coordinated through and at locations determined by the Simplot Games media team.

Violation of any of the above conditions may result in revocation of credentials for the event and potential barring from future Simplot Games.
