Joseph Corbridge, from American Fork, Utah, Wins the Boys’ 800-Meter Run at the 2018 Simplot Games
Pocatello, Idaho—Joseph Corbridge, a junior from American Fork, Utah, won the boys’ 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.99 at the 2018 Simplot Games.
“I did pretty well,” said Corbridge. “I’m happy with my performance. I was really focusing on trying to pass the people in front of me and getting a good time.”
Though Corbridge’s win is still fresh, he’s already thinking ahead to next season and how to improve his techniques and time.
“I’m really aiming to break 1:54 this season,” said Corbridge.
