Idaho Dash Track Club from Boise Wins All Idaho Boys 4×200-meter Relay, Donnelley Sports from Twin Falls, Idaho, Wins the Girls’ 4×200-meter Relay
Pocatello, Idaho – Idaho Dash Track Club from Boise, won the All Idaho boys’4×200 relay at the 2017 Simplot Games.
Jaymon Barrus, Cameron Foley, Khalil Forehand and Caleb Hardy final for the boys 4×200-meter relay, but fell short of placing with a time of 1:34.07. However, because they are from Idaho, their time was the best of the Idaho relay teams, and placed them in first in the All Idaho Boys Relay.
Braxton Staples, Kason Hewatt, Trystan Gray and Tucker Cone of the Indian Track Club, from Pocatello, ran in the All Idaho boy’s 4×200-meter relay and had a time of 1:35.40 as they finished first in the heat, but would take second on the podium due to Idaho Dash having a better time in the elite heat.
“It is a great feeling being able to compete in front of a home crowd,” Cone said, “We love participating in Simplot and getting to meet all these people from different places.
Donnelley Sports ‘A’ from Twin Falls, Idaho, won the all Idaho girls’ 4×200-meter relay with a time of 1:49.95 at the 2017 Simplot Games.
