Carlee Hansen of Woods Cross, Utah, Wins Girls’ 1600 Meters at 2019 Simplot Games
Pocatello, Idaho—Carlee Hansen, a sophomore from Woods Cross, Utah, placed first in the girls’ 1600 meters at the 2019 Simplot Games with a time of 4:51.85. This is the number one time in the United States this year.
This was Hansen’s second year at the Games, returning from her second place win last year.
“This makes me happy and more comfortable for the future,” Hansen said.
Winning first this year and setting a personal record with her time was everything she had hoped for.
