Pocatello, Idaho – Arria Minor, a junior from Denver, won the girls’ 60-meter dash and 400 meters at the 2018 Simplot Games. Her 60-meter dash time was 7.41 seconds and girls’ 400 meters time was 53.47.
“I get really nervous before every race, so I was definitely nervous,” Minor said. “I was just trying to think about executing what I needed to do.”

Minor was also part of the Denver Lightning Track 4×200-meter relay that placed first. Their time was 1:41.46.
