Trent Sanderson to lead Simplot Games After Dark Track Academy
· In News, Press Releases
Pocatello, Idaho- Trent Sanderson will appear at this year’s Simplot Games during the After Dark activities on Friday, February 17.
Hailing from Crested Butte, Colorado, Sanderson represents Team Prep USA, a running program that provides athletes with everything they need to know to take their careers to the next level. Athletes will have a chance to gain insight from Sanderson at the After Dark Track Academy session.
Sanderson arrived in Crested Butte, Colorado in 2004. Since his arrival, running has become an important part of his life. Sanderson helped start Team Prep USA 5 years ago and since its inception it has earned nationwide recognition 18 times. Team Prep USA recently had the only American collegian to qualify for the finals of World Championships in Korea this past summer.
Sanderson says that presenting at Track Academy is his way of “giving back to the sport that has given him so much success.”
This is Sanderson’s first time to Simplot Games. He will share with the athletes what it takes to be the best in running, preventative techniques that keep you up and running, motivation, how to feel accomplished, how to master your event, and the discipline it takes to be successful.
Coach Sanderson and his methods are revolutionizing the sport of high school running while teaching kids how to become successful in life. Coach Sanderson has become one of the most successful running coaches on any level (High School, College, or Professional).
The time-tested execution continues to highlight the credibility and exposure of Team Prep USA athletes.
Remember you can hear from Trent Sanderson at Simplot Games After Dark during the Track Academy, at the Idaho State University’s Student Pond, Salmon River Room, top floor, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Friday February 17. This is an opportunity for high school athletes to get some great insight from one of the nation’s leading running coaches. Tickets for After Dark are available online or at the Simplot Games Store for $10. The ticket includes dinner, choice of workshop, and dance party.
