Each year Dick Fosbury introduces a fellow Olympian to the Pocatello community at “Breakfast with Fosbury and Friends”. This year’s speaker is Olympian Andre Phillips, 1988 Gold Medalist in the 400 meter Hurdles.

Shades of Gold

Shades of Gold is the story of Andre’s Olympic dream and the many obstacles and challenges he overcame – both on and off the track.  Along the way, he experienced bright moments or as he puts it “I won parts of my gold medal before Seoul”.  He talks about the shades of Gold on his journey and shares the lessons of resilience and perseverance he learned in order to achieve his dream.
