Indian Track Club wins All-Idaho boy’s 4×200 at Simplot
Pocatello, Idaho- Ben Workman, Shaw Green, Jerron Batts, and Sawyer Jeter, from Pocatello, representing the Indian Track Club, won the All-Idaho boy’s 4×200 at the 32nd annual Simplot Games. They won with a time of 1:34.73.
“We feel great! It’s awesome to win an event in our hometown,” said Jeter.
“The Simplot Games are a good experience,” said Batts. “We get to meet athletes from all over and get to see the level that they compete at; it’s good motivation.”
More than 1,800 athletes came from across the U.S. and Canada to participate in the 32nd annual Simplot Games. Simplot Games remains the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field event. Sponsored by the J.R. Simplot Company since 1979, the Simplot Games are held at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.
